Brien Foerster
Brien Foerster has explored more than 90 countries but his true passion is researching and writing about the ancient megalithic works found in Peru, Bolivia, Mexico, Easter Island, Egypt, England, and beyond. His 22 books are available on this website & amazon.com. He has appeared 15 times on the Ancient Aliens television series as well as numerous other TV and radio presentations. Brien’s popular Youtube channel contains more than 850 videos related to hidden history and megalithic sites.
Irene Flores
Irene Flores is a native Peruvian who holds university degrees in both Spanish literature and the English language. She lived in the US for 12 years, but then returned to Peru, where she and Brien began to explore the ancient archaeological sites of her homeland. Her passion for pre-Colombian cultures has led her to visit the major, and many minor sites in Peru and Bolivia, as well as Easter Island, England, Australia, New Zealand, Egypt, Mexico, Lebanon and other locations. She is the Spanish to English translator for all of our tours, as well as the local coordinator of all tour activities.
Day 1: February 14th - Arrival
Arrive in Mexico City; free day for those that
arrive early. This is the center of both modern Mexico
City and the ancient Aztec placed called Tenochtitlan.
Great shopping and fine restaurants. Overnight Mexico
City.
Day 2: February 15th - Plaza Mayor and National Anthropology Museum
Visit the Plaza Mayor and National Anthropology
Museum. Overnight Mexico City. Plaza Mayor is the
Aztec center, just a couple of blocks from our hotel, and
the National Anthropology Museum has massive
displays of all of the major ancient cultures of Mexico.
Day 3: February 16th - Teotihuacan and Tula
Teotihuacan and Tula. Overnight Mexico City.
Teotihuacan, “where men became gods” is immense
and was originally constructed by unknown builders
long before the time of the Aztec people. Evidence of
lost ancient technology here.
Tula, home to the “Atleantean Warriors” is also of
unknown age. The basalt stone used in its construction
is from a distant quarry.
Day 4: February 17th - Cholula and Oaxaca
Drive to Cholula (2 hours) then on to Oaxaca (4
hours.) Overnight Oaxaca. Cholula is the largest
pyramidal structure on the planet, with a colonial
church built on top and having at least 7 kilometers of
tunnels in its core for us to explore.
Day 5: February 18th - Monte Alban and Mitla
Monte Alban and Mitla; overnight Oaxaca.
Monte Alban, located on a high hill overlooking the vast
agricultural area near the city of Oaxaca is of Zapotec
construction. Some evidence of ancient megalithic
works here.
Mitla was an absolute shock when we first visited in
January 2018. Though most of the construction was
done by the Zapotec people, the presence of several 6
ton basalt beams, as well as others of 10 and even 18
tons tell us that a very technologically advanced culture
was there first.
Day 6: February 19th - Mexico City and Villahermosa
Fly to Mexico City then on to Villahermosa. If
time, visit La Venta Park. Overnight Villahermosa. La
Venta Park is where we will see many of the huge
Olmec stone heads and other sculptures rescued from
ancient sites when oil and gas were discovered in this
part of Mexico.
Day 7: February 20th - Palenque
Drive to Palenque (2 hours) and overnight
Palenque. This one of the most beautiful and tranquil of
all of Mexico’s Mayan ancient places. Nestled in the
jungle/rain forest, there are clear examples of lost
ancient high technology here
Day 8: February 21st - Campeche
Drive to Campeche (5 hours) and explore the
town. Overnight Campeche. A world heritage site and
once the hang out for pirates, Campeche is a very cute
colonial town right on the Gulf of Mexico.
Day 9: February 22nd - Uxmal and Merida
Drive to Uxmal then overnight in Merida (2 hour
drive.) Uxmal, which means “thrice built” is home to the
Pyramid of the Magicians seen above. Its name is telling
us that prior to the time of the resident Maya,
megalithic builders were here whose craftsmanship will
be quite obvious.
Day 10: February 23rd - Chichen Itza and Tulum
Drive to Chichen Itza and Tulum. Chichen Itza, world famous and home to
classic Mayan works such as El Castillo seen above, also
has older megalithic elements in its core area.
Tulum, a Maya gem on the edge of the gentle light blue
Caribbean Sea boasts many small limestone buildings,
and a long stretch of beach to enjoy. Overnight in Cancun. Tour ends. Fly from Cancun back to Mexico City the following day.
