Our day tour of Cusco, which lasts about 4 hours shows you the best examples of Inca and older, as in megalithic construction in the ancient heart of the city. Although the Spanish destroyed many of the temples and palaces of the Inca in order to build their own houses and churches, there are still many fine sites to look at.
Cusco was designed by the Inca in the shape of a Puma, and this is the oldest part of the city which we explore.
We begin in the Plaza de Armas, which is the heart of Cusco.
Our first major stop is the Inca Roca palace, which has a Puma, snake and condor built into the original construction. The animal images have to be shown to you; they are not as obvious as this.
